Convene at the TUC Annual Congress in Brighton

December 7, 2016 – Between September 11th-12th Convene attended the annual Trade Union Conference in Brighton. It first held its Congress in Brighton in 1933 and from the 1950s onwards, has regularly held its Congress there.

Earlier this year we had acquired two union clients: Community and National Union for Teachers, and we have since enabled these organisations to work more efficiently in a secure digital environment. With Convene, meeting organisers have the power to make changes to documents and meeting packs, as and when information is updated.

Meeting participants need not search through long email threads for the most up-to-date documents, instead all they have to do is open up Convene to see the changes. These all make decisions and action items easier to manage, view and complete.

High level union meetings handle sensitive information, and this was a concern of going digital when data hacking and information leakage is headline news. Convene security that has encryption standards 16 times greater than online banking, data recovery mechanisms and fine grained access control, security is the least of your worries.
