June 23, 2014 – After a successful showcase at the NHF Company Secretaries’ Conference 2014, Convene will be exhibited again at another event, the Local Government Strategic Leaders Forum on June 26 at the Park Plaza Victoria Hotel, 239 Vauxhall Bridge Rd, London. Just as in the previous conference, Mr Alasdair Mangham will represent Convene at the forum, which serves as the perfect opportunity to come together with new mandates to set the agenda for the future of local government. Expected attendees include local government experts such as Chief Executives, Leaders and Service Directors.
Interested attendees can visit Convene’s booth and watch a demonstration of Convene to see how it facilitates every step of remote, paperless board meetings, from organising meetings to archiving documents and everything in between. Two of the forum’s objectives are to encourage innovation and embed long-term sustainable local growth, and attendees will find Convene — an efficient solution that revolutionises virtual meetings while saving time, money, and effort — to be aligned with those goals.
The forum will also hold interactive roundtable sessions designed to address key challenges facing local government, making it an ideal venue for us to introduce the concept that the right kind of technology can help leaders enforce strong e-governance. With Convene’s stringent security measures, archiving capabilities, and audit trail logging, it will address concerns related to transparency, accountability, and security in a digital environment.
