Convene Now on UK G-Cloud as Part of G-Cloud ii Framework Agreement

November 13, 2012 – Convene, the enterprise-grade app for paperless mobile meetings and document collaboration on iPad, Android, and Windows, will be offered to UK public sector bodies as a cloud service through the Government CloudStore, according to Convene developer, Azeus Systems Ltd.

Azeus was appreciatively awarded a G-Cloud ii Framework Agreement by the Government Procurement Service of the UK, allowing Convene to be delivered under the Software as a Service (SaaS) model to public sector bodies. Under this model, public authorities can immediately start using Convene through a pay-per-use scheme, eliminating the need to spend on costly IT infrastructure in order to host collaborative platforms such as Convene.

The G-Cloud programme offers the UK public sector a range of cloud services and products under Compute-as-a-Service, Storage-as-a-Service and Software-as-a-Service, at competitive prices from the Government CloudStore, launched early this year.
