Azeus, in cooperation with Hewlett-Packard (HP) Hong Kong, completed an e-banking project for Hong Kong-based Ka Wah Bank, a banking subsidiary of the investment conglomerate CITIC. The e-banking facility allowed clients to submit loan applications online. Three types of loan applications were covered including Personal Installment Loan, Personal Line of Credit and Residential Mortgage Loan. The system also automatically checked if applicant-submitted data qualified for criteria of a loan.

A mortgage loan calculator was made available to clients to simulate “what-if” scenarios pertaining to their loan applications. The online calculator assisted clients in determining the best loan package suited to their needs based on some defined conditions. These client-defined conditions include the repayment method, the loan amount, the interest rate and the repayment period.
