December 1, 2016 – On 4th October 2016, Azeus UK successfully delivered an integrated case management solution and integrated bed booking system to support Acorns in providing care services to over 800 children and over 1000 families across the heart of England. AzeusCare has been purposefully designed by both IT experts and hospice professionals to provide a comprehensive, reliable, safe and easy-to-use application that supports effective hospice and client management.
To achieve this, Azeus configured and enhanced its system with a customer-focused bed booking and group activity booking modules. New assessment recording tools were also implemented such as the Body Injury Diagram and the Dependency Needs Assessment Matrix. The system delivery also includes a mobile application for out-of-hospice activity recording as well as a visual interactive nurse’s dashboard.
Azeus is in the process of updating its Children and Family Portal which will allow parents and guardians to make online bed booking requests as well as register for various group activities arranged by Acorns. Moreover, the portal will also include innovative online visual recording tools that allow children to play and paint the world as they see it, thereby capturing directly their voice within the system.
