Azeus is Awarded the UK Government Local Authority Software Applications Framework Agreement

August 5, 2014 – Azeus UK is pleased to be awarded the Local Authority Software Applications Framework Agreement RM1059 by the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) of the UK Government. Of the 11 Lots in this framework, Azeus bid for and are awarded 5 Lots as below:

  • Lot 3 – Environmental, Planning, Building Control, Trading Standards and Licencing
  • Lot 4 – Libraries Systems
  • Lot 6 – Social Care Systems
  • Lot 9 – Open Government Systems, Interoperability and Integration Services
  • Lot 10 – Democratic and Citizen Engagement Systems

CCS is the executive agency and trading fund of the Cabinet Office in the UK. It mainly brings together policy, advice and direct buying, and improves commercial and procurement activity.

This frameowork agreement has been developed in conjunction with local authorities, the Local Government Association and Pro5 to provide a route to market for the acquisition of software and related services to enable local authorities within the UK to deliver services to their citizens, such as revenue and benefits collection and payments and delivery of statutory functions such as social care, planning, environmental and building control, and provision of social housing.

Under this framework agreement, suppliers can provide software and related services to the UK public authorities. The services include design, development, installation and commissioning of systems, ongoing support and maintenance, and other related business process services.
