Azeus implemented a Palm Pilot-based Point-of-Sale (POS) system that captures sales and inventory data from Chanel retail counters in Hong Kong and Korea. The service covered Taiwan and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

This system supported issuance of sales memos, stock-taking, sending purchase orders to warehouses and various statistical functions to support business analysis. A custom-designed application running on Palm Pilot was used to capture sales transactions. Each Palm Pilot was equipped with a built-in bar code scanner to capture product codes. The system allowed Chanel to have better control of its sales data and facilitated the sales analysis to support sales and marketing campaigns.
