HONG KONG, May 01, 2005 – Dalian Vice Mayor, Mr. Dai Yulin, along with a group representing a government official from the Dalian Municipal People’s government, visited Azeus Hong Kong headquarters last April 2005 to attend some presentation and discussion sessions about Azeus' experience in developing software in the backdrop of Hong Kong's thriving IT industry.

In the meeting, Mr. Lee Wan Lik, Managing Director of Azeus and Mr. Winston Wong, Executive Vice President of Azeus, presented the company’s background and shared their experience and contribution in the growth and development of the IT business in Hong Kong.

Mr. Dai and the officials exchanged viewpoints with Azeus on how to further strengthen IT co-operation between Hong Kong and Dalian, such that Dalian can leverage Hong Kong’s experience to position it as a key player in the global software industry. They also discussed potential collaboration opportunities between Azeus and Dalian's software industry.

“Currently, a large portion of Dalian’s software industry is focusing on the Japanese outsourcing market to provide, mainly, low value-added coding and testing services. In order to further increase the competitiveness of Dalian’s software industry on high-end value-added services, it will definitely be an advantage if they can leverage Hong Kong’s well-established business experience to compete in the global software industry. We are looking forward to cooperating with the Dalian government in various IT industry initiatives,” said Wong.
