| SurfIP portal for The Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) New! Information about Intellectual Property on the Internet usually resides on different databases, files, portals, and websites, belonging to various organizations and countries around the world. This information might be displayed in a number of languages and hosted by a number of incompatible IT platforms and systems. With these limitations, conventional search methods for the IP information are time-consuming and costly. The Intellectual Property Office of the Singapore engaged BIGontheNet, Azeus' sister company, to develop a one-stop, web-based cross-lingual intellectual property information access solution by leveraging the iCubed™.
The solution, "SurfIP portal", a customer-centric system that served various user segments (e.g., patent attorneys, researchers, inventors) by providing IP information management tools to help owners position themselves better in commercializing their IP rights with various value-adding tools. The portal offered an integrated search facility enabling users to obtain aggregated search results from multiple high-quality sources. |
