The Hong Kong Observatory (HKO) provides meteorological services to bureaus/ departments, the public and organizations. In order to give accurate and timely weather information, HKO engaged Azeus to conduct a study to review its existing information technology deployment and propose a long term IT Planning.

Azeus helped HKO clarify its overall business strategy and review its current business environment and information systems. Gap analysis was conducted to identify IT improvement opportunities, process and operations optimization initiatives, as well as possible improvement areas on IT infrastructure support to align with the overall business strategy. As a result of the study, Azeus has formulated and finalized a long term IT plan with recommendations addressing future information needs of HKO.
